Frequently asked questions

1. what is needed to process the request for an injection mold?

In order to process your request, we require 3D data of the desired component and dimensional drawings with tolerances. If this information is not available, a physical reference sample or a sketch is sufficient for us to start building a 3D model.

The service life of an injection mold depends on the materials used and the processing. Molds can be through-hardened, surface-hardened or naturally hard (unhardened) – depending on the customer’s quantity requirements. With proper care, an injection mold can achieve a service life of 10 to 20 years.
The cost of an injection mold varies greatly and depends on the complexity and size of the component. A simple mold with one cavity starts at around €5,000, while complex multi-cavity molds can run into the hundreds of thousands. Prices vary greatly depending on the requirements.
We use high-quality and durable materials that are selected according to the intended use and requirements. Special surface treatments or hardening processes can further improve the durability and functionality of the mold.
After each use, the injection mold is thoroughly serviced and carefully stored. This ensures that the molds are available and ready for use at all times and that a long service life is guaranteed.
